Madrid is the second province in the directory in terms of the number of circuits—ten—and the first in terms of density: all are less than an hour from the city center, and most are less than half an hour away. It's the only province where the question isn't "where's a karting nearby" but "which one of the ones near me is best for me today," and the answer varies considerably depending on what you're looking for.
The most useful difference is between indoor and outdoor tracks, because in Madrid this matters more than on the coast. Karting Carlos Sainz Las Rozas and Speed Park Oasiz, in Torrejón de Ardoz, are the two indoor tracks in the province: they're the perfect option, weather-free, whether it's the 40-degree heat of August or the rain of November. The Las Rozas track has a verified 450 meters, a typical indoor length, where the key isn't top speed but linking corners without losing momentum. The Torrejón track uses electric karts, as does Formula Cero in Leganés, which offers both gasoline and electric options.
Outdoors, the longest track we've measured in the province is Karting Rivas, at 1,010 meters, in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. It's followed by Jarama Karting, at 528 meters, within the Jarama circuit complex in San Sebastián de los Reyes, and Karting Ángel Burgueño in Pedrezuela and Karting Club Los Santos in Los Santos de la Humosa, both to the north and east, outside the metropolitan area. This outer ring is where the longest tracks usually end up, and it's also the one that requires a car: it's not an after-dinner activity, it's a Saturday morning plan.
Within the metropolitan area, you'll find Henakart in San Fernando de Henares, Ocius Park in Colmenar Viejo, and Circuito Karting Madrid in Paracuellos de Jarama, which also operates as a school— Motorkart Academy —and not just a rental track. Karting Club Los Santos is listed in the directory with two tracks and children's karts, which is the important information if you're going with kids and don't want to discover at the gate that the minimum age excludes someone.
We haven't published the track length or type for several of these circuits because we haven't been able to confirm them. We prefer a short, accurate description to a long, fabricated one, so it's best to call before you travel: in a province with ten options, a one-minute call saves half an hour of driving time.
