The track
Karting Ángel Burgueño is an outdoor track located on the service road of the A-1, Exit 47, at kilometer 45.8, in the municipality of Pedrezuela, north of the Community of Madrid. It’s on the natural route to the mountains, making it a convenient stop for anyone heading up to or down from Somosierra on the weekend.
It features gasoline-powered karts and has a separate fleet for children, so it’s perfect for a family outing—not just for a group of adults. The facility is one of the best-equipped in the province for spending time there: it has a restaurant, a café, a terrace, and free parking—a significant advantage for a track located right off the highway.
Be sure to check the hours, as they are irregular and the track closes for two consecutive days. It is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The rest of the week, the hours change daily: Mondays only in the afternoon, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM; on Fridays until 10:00 p.m.; and on Saturdays and Sundays, it opens at 1:00 p.m., closing at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday. In other words: if you go on a Saturday morning, it’s closed.
Pedrezuela is about thirty-five minutes from downtown Madrid via the A-1.
