Fórmula Cero Outdoor Karting (Arroyosur)

The track

Fórmula Cero Outdoor Karting is located on an outdoor track at the ArroyoSur shopping center in Leganés, south of the Madrid metropolitan area. It’s a rare combination: an outdoor track inside a shopping center, with all that entails in terms of parking, access, and a combined package with other attractions at the center.

Technically, it’s one of the most comprehensive facilities in the province. It offers both gasoline-powered and electric karts—a feature found in only a handful of facilities throughout Spain listed in this directory: five verified tracks have electric karts, and almost none of them also offer gasoline-powered ones. This allows you to choose based on what you’re looking for, because they don’t drive the same way: the electric karts deliver torque from a standstill and are more accessible for beginners, while the gas-powered ones require managing engine RPM.

It’s also one of only two karting tracks in the Community of Madrid listed here that has a driving school, so there’s actual instruction available—not just pay-by-the-minute rentals. It also features a café and hosts children’s birthday parties, group events, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

There are no published hours, and since it’s located inside a shopping center, the track’s hours may not match those of the mall, so it’s best to confirm them before visiting. Leganés is twenty minutes from downtown Madrid and is accessible by metro and Cercanías trains.
