Tarragona boasts seven ski circuits along a relatively short stretch of coastline, and the explanation is the same as in Benidorm or the Costa del Sol: Salou, Comarruga, and La Pineda attract a volume of family tourism that sustains several facilities simultaneously. The difference is that here the circuits are, on average, longer than what is typically seen in this area.

Salou is the only municipality in the province with two circuits: Karting Salou, with 950 meters of verified track and two lanes, and Electric Karting Salou, with 800 meters and electric karts. Having them in the same town allows for something unusual: choosing between gasoline and electric without leaving the town. They're not the same, and those who have tried both usually have a clear preference.

The longest track in the province is at Karting Club Vendrell, with 1,310 meters and two lanes, located in El Vendrell. It's a club track, not a seasonal attraction, and that usually means a more demanding track, less geared towards the casual visitor. A few kilometers away, in Comarruga, is Karting Coma-ruga, which covers the same area but with a different focus.

To the south, Karting Calafat, in L'Ametlla de Mar, with a 700-meter track, is located next to the Calafat speed circuit, in an area where the next karting is quite far away: it's the go-to track for the Baix Ebre and Terres de l'Ebre regions. And in the capital, Tarraco Karting is the only one in the province listed as a mixed track—part indoors, part outdoors—with 600 meters, which is a significant advantage in the summer.

Karting Altafulla completes the list, covering the stretch between Tarragona and Torredembarra. Of the seven circuits, we have confirmed lengths for five; for the other two, we prefer not to publish them rather than publish a figure we haven't been able to verify.
