Nürburgreen Indoor

The track

Nürburgreen Indoor is an indoor electric go-kart track located on Camí de Can Carreró in Les Franqueses del Vallès, housed in a facility measuring approximately twenty thousand square meters. It meets two criteria that are rare in this directory: it is one of only four indoor karting tracks in the province of Barcelona and the only one in Catalonia with an entirely electric fleet—one of just five such tracks in all of Spain.

That combination changes the game. Since it’s indoors, the weather no longer determines whether you can drive; and since it’s electric, the noise and smell of gasoline disappear, making it much more pleasant for a large group or for bringing children, because you can talk between sessions. An electric kart also delivers torque from a standstill, so acceleration out of a turn is immediate and doesn’t depend on keeping the engine at a certain RPM—it’s usually more accessible for first-time drivers.

It has free parking, a café, and an area reserved for events, so it’s perfect for a celebration that doesn’t end on the track.

The hours are extensive and geared toward nightlife: Monday through Tuesday, it opens at 5:00 p.m. and closes at 10:00 p.m.; Wednesday through Friday, it stays open until 11:00 p.m.; and on weekends, it opens at 11:00 a.m. Les Franqueses is a half-hour drive from Barcelona on the AP-7, near Granollers.
