Karting Castellolí

The track

Karting Castellolí is a 1,340-meter outdoor track located at kilometer 560 of the N-IIa highway, in the municipality of Castellolí, and is part of the Parcmotor complex. At this length, it is by far the longest track in the province of Barcelona among those measured by this directory; the next longest, Cardedeu, is only 731 meters.

Being part of a motorsports complex sets it apart from the rest. It’s not a track next to a local road but rather a facility within a complex designed for racing, with all that entails in terms of access, safety, and services. And 1,340 meters is plenty for some real driving: there’s room to string together turns, find gaps, and make your fast lap depend on how you drive—not on who’s in front of you.

It’s also one of the three kart tracks in the province listed here that features a driving school—meaning training in addition to one-off sessions. The fleet consists of gas-powered karts, with separate karts for children, and the facility is one of the most comprehensive in Catalonia: it features a restaurant, a terrace, changing rooms, and showers—a rarity that shows people come here to spend the day, not just half an hour.

It’s open every day, with split winter hours—from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.—and, importantly, reservations are required. Castellolí is about forty minutes from Barcelona via the A-2, on the way to Igualada.
