Karting Cardedeu

The track

Karting Cardedeu is a 731-meter outdoor track located at kilometer 5.3 of the C-251, the highway connecting Granollers and Sant Celoni in the Vallès Oriental region. It is the second-longest track measured by this directory in the province of Barcelona, behind Castellolí.

Its location makes it the go-to spot for the Vallès Oriental and the Selva region: it’s fifteen minutes from Granollers and less than half an hour from Mataró and Sabadell, in a densely populated area with virtually no other outdoor karting options.

It operates with gasoline-powered karts and has a separate children’s fleet, making it perfect for the whole family. Among its amenities are an on-screen lap timer—which changes the dynamics of a group session more than it seems, turning laps into a leaderboard and the leaderboard into a conversation—and a merchandise shop. It hosts children’s birthday parties, group events, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

There are no published opening hours, so it’s best to call ahead before visiting, especially outside of peak season: it’s an outdoor track, and activity in the Vallès region drops significantly in winter. Cardedeu has a Rodalies station on the Puigcerdà line, though the track is located along the highway, just outside the town center.
