Indoor Karting Barcelona

The track

Indoor Karting Barcelona is a 500-meter indoor track located in the El Pla industrial park in Sant Feliu de Llobregat, just outside Barcelona. It is one of four indoor karting tracks in the province—the highest concentration in Spain, which has only nineteen out of 136 certified tracks.

What really sets it apart is its hours: it stays open later than any other track in the province. On Fridays and Saturdays, it stays open until 1:00 a.m., and Monday through Thursday until 11:00 p.m. For a night out in the metropolitan area—a bachelor party, a company dinner followed by more fun—almost no one else offers this, especially indoors, where the time of day and weather are no longer an issue.

The track is next to a bowling alley and a laser tag arena, so it’s a solid plan even if not everyone in the group wants to drive. It has a restaurant and an on-screen timer, which is what turns a group of friends into a leaderboard. The fleet consists of gas-powered karts, including children’s karts.

On weekends, it opens as early as 10:00 a.m., so it covers the entire time slot: it’s one of the few places where you can drive as early as mid-morning on a Saturday or as late as the wee hours of the morning. Sant Feliu is fifteen minutes from Barcelona and is served by the Rodalies commuter rail.
