Karting Empuriabrava

The track

Karting Empuriabrava is an outdoor circuit located on Carrer del Xaloc in Empuriabrava, within the municipality of Castelló d'Empúries, right in the heart of the Costa Brava. The track is 850 meters long and eight meters wide, with nine turns—five right-handers and four left-handers—and features its own lighting and timing systems.

The fleet consists of three models—the 2DR, SR4, and LR5—as well as children’s karts and two-seaters, so it caters to everyone from a child riding as a passenger to a group of adults looking to compete seriously. No reservation is needed for individual sessions; however, reservations are required for group races, birthday parties, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

What isn’t listed on the profile but is worth knowing: it’s operated by Events Karts, a company with over twenty years of experience in the industry that also runs three other tracks listed in this directory—Karting Cardedeu in Barcelona, Karting Las Américas in Tenerife, and Karting Pino Montano in Seville. It’s the group with the most facilities listed here, which explains why the race formats and timing system are the same across all four. They also offer mobile karting for corporate events, meaning they can bring the track to the client instead of the other way around.

And an important note to avoid mixing up the tracks: in Empuriabrava, there are two different karting tracks, just a few minutes apart and completely unrelated to one another. This one is the asphalt track. The other is KartingCross Empuriabrava, on the C-260, which runs on a mix of dirt and asphalt; they are separate businesses, with different phone numbers and websites. If you’ve arranged to meet your group at “the Empuriabrava karting track,” it’s worth confirming which one.

You can make reservations and purchase session packages directly on their website.
