León is an unusual case: four karting circuits in a sparsely populated and geographically dispersed province, and none of them rely on beach tourism. Here, karting is a local hobby, and that changes the type of facilities you find.
The largest is Karting Cabañas Raras, in El Bierzo, with 1,143 meters of verified track and three lanes, the highest number in the entire directory. Three different layouts in the same facility allow for separate levels and ages, something that usually only makes sense where there's a school or competition involved, not where the business relies on passing visitors.
Karting GP León, in Valdesogo de Arriba, serves the area around the capital, with a 1,000-meter verified track. Karting RMC Villablino is in Laciana, in the far northwest of the province and quite a distance from everything else: for those who live there, it's the only option within an hour's drive. And Karting Castroponce, in Saludes de Castroponce, covers the south, towards the border with Zamora and Valladolid.
The practical consequence of this dispersion is that in León, karting almost always requires a car, but also that each region has its own: El Bierzo, Laciana, the outskirts of León, and the south of the province. This is a more balanced coverage than that of many provinces with twice as many circuits.
All four are listed as outdoor circuits, which is something to keep in mind in a province with winters like León: there's no indoor alternative if the weather turns bad. We haven't published the length of two of them because we haven't been able to verify it.
