Karting RMC Villablino

The track

RMC Villablino Karting is located on Cantina Street in Villablino, in the Laciana Valley, in the far northwest of León. It is the most remote karting track listed in this directory: an hour and a half from León via mountain roads, and the only one in the region.

The first thing to know is that it’s a seasonal track, and not just on a whim: at an altitude of 1,000 meters in Laciana, winter makes driving impossible. It closes for the season when the cold sets in and reopens in May, though it does organize occasional events during the winter. During the season, it’s open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 10 p.m., closed on Mondays—a very long continuous operating schedule, among the longest in this directory.

It accommodates both options: kart rentals and bringing your own kart, which is unusual and makes it a viable option for anyone who owns a kart and lives in the area or in western Asturias, which lies on the other side of the mountain pass.

The track is described as having tight turns and long straights. It features a café with a spacious, partially covered terrace—no small detail in Laciana—and a food service, and it hosts birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and group gatherings.

Reservations are made by phone. The track does not publish information on track length, kart categories, or minimum ages—the details missing from this listing—so you’ll need to ask for them when you call.
