Karting Roquetas

The track

Karting Roquetas is located at kilometer 5 on the Alicún Road in Roquetas de Mar. The track is 860 meters long, with a width ranging from eight to ten meters and a 100-meter straightaway, covering approximately 18,000 square meters.

It is the sister track of Karting Copo in El Ejido: same operator, same phone number, same website, and same hours. The difference lies in the facilities. Copo has pits, a paddock area, and computerized timing; Roquetas has a video scoreboard, which allows you to see the times on screen at the end of a session without having to organize a race. If you’re planning a formal race, Copo is better equipped; if it’s just an afternoon of laps, this place is more than enough.

The hours, shared with its sister track, are among the most extensive in the directory: Monday through Thursday, mornings and afternoons with a break at noon; Fridays until midnight; Saturdays continuously until 11 p.m.; and Sundays until 10 p.m. In Almería, that really matters, because in the summer, the best hours are after dinner.

It hosts group races, children’s and adults’ birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and corporate events, and offers the same promotion of extra minutes when tickets are purchased online.

It’s about thirty kilometers from Copo along the coast, so for anyone in western Almería, both are viable options, and it’s a good idea to see which one fits your plans before booking: they’re listed together on the website.
