The track

Karting Marbella - Funny Hill is a 500-meter outdoor track located on the old road from Ojén to Marbella, in Cañada de Murta, within the municipality of Ojén. Despite its commercial name, it is located in the municipality of Ojén and not in Marbella: this is the first thing to keep in mind, because searching for it under the wrong municipality will lead you to the city rather than to the mountain road where it is actually located.

Its location on the old road from Ojén, heading up from the coast, gives it something no other track on the Costa del Sol has: it’s outside the city limits and away from the highway, with the elevation changes and views of the Ojén mountain range. It’s a different experience than driving on a terrace or in an industrial park.

The fleet covers all three categories—single-seater gas karts, two-seaters for giving a ride to a passenger who isn’t driving, and kids’ karts—and the facility has a café and restaurant, so you can stay for more than just one session.

And a warning that only becomes clear when looking at the entire province: it has nothing to do with the Kart&Fun or Karting Experience tracks, which are two other operators, each with two locations along this same coast. Seven listings for Málaga actually correspond to five different businesses, and the names are similar enough to cause confusion. There are no published hours; it’s best to call before going.
