The track

Karting Indoor Gran Canaria is located in the Las Rubiesas business park in Melenara, Telde, fifteen minutes from Las Palmas. It’s a new facility, and its most striking feature is the track layout: a three-level indoor track.

A multi-level circuit is rare—in this directory, it’s only found here and at the indoor track at the Fernando Alonso Museum and Circuit—and it really changes the driving experience: going uphill, the kart loses momentum and the braking point comes earlier; going downhill, the opposite happens, and the rear wheel demands more care. That turns a short track into something that’s still fun even on your fifth lap.

Its race formats are well-structured and consist of full races, not just practice sessions: ranging from single 10-minute sessions to the Mini GP (one warm-up lap, six minutes against the clock, and ten competition laps), the GP2 (two warm-up laps, ten minutes, and a twelve-lap race), and the F1—the long format—with four warm-up laps, twelve minutes against the clock, fifteen competition laps, and a podium ceremony with champagne included.

It has a paddock, a podium area, and a café—specifically designed for hanging out after your session—and hosts birthday parties, challenges among friends, group events, and celebrations.

Two practical details: It’s closed on Mondays and Tuesdays—which is important so you don’t show up there on a Monday; from Wednesday through Friday, it’s open only in the afternoon, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on weekends and holidays from noon to 10:00 p.m. And since it’s indoors, the Canary Islands’ summer heat and wind won’t spoil an afternoon of karting.
