The track

The Gran Karting Club is located on Windsurfing Avenue in Bahía Feliz, within the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, in the south of Gran Canaria and just a stone's throw from the beaches of Maspalomas.

There are three tracks, not just one: a youth track, an adult track, and a custom layout they call GKC. Having three layouts allows children, a group of adults, and an organized race to run simultaneously without having to wait—which is the usual drawback of a single track during peak season.

Its karting program is the most comprehensive in the archipelago among those listed in this directory, with seven categories and clearly defined age ranges for each: Infantil for children ages 6 to 10, Infantil Biplaza so that younger children can ride accompanied by an adult, Junior for ages 10 to 15, Senior for ages 16 and up, Senior Two-Seater and Centurion for those over 18, and Superkart, also for ages 16 and up but requiring prior experience. All sessions last eight minutes.

This structure is what allows an entire family to drive on the same day in the kart that’s right for them, from a six-year-old child to anyone who wants a fast kart.

It’s open 365 days a year, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends—which is exactly what a year-round tourist destination needs. And here’s a very convenient practical detail: reservations aren’t required for groups of up to eight people; only organized events need one.

It hosts group events, bachelor/bachelorette parties, corporate celebrations, and children’s birthday parties, with separate contacts for reservations and birthday parties. It also organizes 24-hour endurance races, during which the track is closed to the public.
