Gipuzkoa has two karting circuits that serve two different needs. The Circuito de Olaberria, managed by Vilariño Motorsport, is located in the heart of the Goierri corridor next to the A-1 motorway, with a 1,100-meter verified track: a long circuit that allows for various racing lines and makes sense for serious drivers. Karting Indoor Irún, on the border with France, is the indoor circuit.

That pair —one long one outdoors and one indoors— is the most useful combination a small province can have, and here it also makes geographical sense: Olaberria is halfway between Donostia and Vitoria, and the one in Irún serves both the Bidasoa region and the visitor crossing from Hendaye.

In a province with the climate of the eastern Cantabrian coast, having an indoor option is no luxury. The Irún indoor track features two-seater karts, which is the relevant detail when someone who doesn't drive is going.

Donostia-San Sebastián, where most of them live and travel, doesn't have its own racetrack within the city limits. The two racetracks are roughly the same distance away by motorway, about thirty or forty minutes depending on traffic.

We haven't published the length of the Irún circuit because we haven't been able to confirm it. The length of the Olaberria circuit has been verified, and it's the one that sets the benchmark for the province.
