Granada has two karting circuits, both located within the city limits, just a few kilometers apart, but they are very different facilities. Formula Karting Granada is an indoor track within the city, with a 420-meter verified track. Karting Granada is an outdoor track in Vegas del Genil, to the west, with a 700-meter track.
That difference is what truly determines which one to choose. The indoor track isn't dependent on the weather or the time of day, and in a city where summers exceed forty degrees Celsius and winters bring frost, that's valuable year-round. The Vegas del Genil track is longer, has two-seater karts in addition to the children's karts, and is the one that fits the bill when the goal is to get some driving done, not just pass the time.
Neither of them covers the rest of the province, which is large and very diverse: the tropical coast—Motril, Almuñécar—, the Altiplano, and the Guadix area are quite a distance away. Anyone in Motril has the Málaga racetracks almost as close as those in their own city.
Both have children's karts, so neither rules out the family plan from the start, and we have the track length verified for both, which is not usual.
For those visiting Granada as tourists, the covered restaurant in the capital is the one that least complicates the day: it doesn't require a car and allows you to fit a round in between two visits.
