Cantabria has two karting circuits and they divide the region between them without overlapping: Karting La Roca, in Quijas, municipality of Reocín, covers the west and the Torrelavega area, and Karting Los Molinos, in Noja, covers the eastern coast, the Santoña, Isla and Laredo area.
Karting La Roca is listed as having a verified 800-meter track; Karting Los Molinos, 525 meters. Both are listed as outdoor circuits, and neither as indoor. In a region where the weather changes from one hour to the next and rain doesn't wait for winter, that's the first thing to know: there's no indoor alternative in all of Cantabria, so a phone call before you go saves you the trip.
The Quijas kart track offers two-seater karts and children's karts, making it the most complete option for families. The Noja track only has gasoline-powered karts and one track.
Santander, where a large part of the region's population lives, doesn't have its own circuit listed in the directory. The closest is Quijas, about thirty kilometers away via the A-67, and Noja is a similar distance away on the other side.
Two circuits for an entire community is a limited offering, especially noticeable in summer when the Cantabrian coast's population swells. If you're going in August, it's advisable to book in advance or at least call ahead: with only two facilities and a high volume of visitors, Saturday afternoons are packed.
