The track

Kartingmania is located on Pere Mas i Reus Avenue in Puerto de Alcúdia, in northern Mallorca. It’s the most British of the tracks in this directory—and not just because of its crowd: its website is in English, and its fleet consists of British-made Biz karts.

These karts are its hallmark. The standard Biz Karts are equipped with an unrestricted 200 cc Honda engine and a dry clutch, and they reach speeds of 65 km/h. They feature fixed-configuration seats and pedals in various versions to accommodate each driver rather than requiring adjustments. Above them are the Biz Pro models, equipped with twin engines, which exceed 85 km/h and are not freely accessible: the track selects who is allowed to drive them. This is a rare occurrence and speaks volumes about how seriously they take the track.

The seat is about three centimeters off the ground, which is why the sensation of speed in a kart has nothing to do with the speedometer reading.
