The track

Karting Las Palmeras is located at kilometer 23 of the Nazaret-Oliva highway, in the Les Palmeretes area, between Perelló and Sueca, about half an hour from downtown Valencia. The main track is 900 meters long, and there is also a separate children’s circuit.

What really sets it apart is its range of karts, which is the most comprehensive in the province among those listed in this directory: seven categories, each with its own engine displacement and rated speed. The Biplaza Baby, with a 160 cc engine and a top speed of 20 km/h, is designed for very young children to drive with an adult; the Alevín, with a 120 cc engine and a top speed of 20 km/h; the Junior, with a 120 cc engine and a top speed of 25; the Cadet, with a 160 cc engine and a top speed of 35; the Racer, with a 200 cc engine and a top speed of 50; the Biplaza Pro, with a 270 cc engine and a top speed of 65; and at the top, the F-400, with a 390 cc engine and a top speed of 80 km/h, reserved for the very highest level.

This fine gradation matters for a practical reason: at a karting track with only two categories, a twelve-year-old would have to choose between the kids’ kart and the adults’ kart, neither of which would be a good fit. Here there are four steps before reaching the fastest kart, which allows a family or a group with widely varying ages to go out at the same time, each in the kart that’s right for them.

Their website includes a turn-by-turn guide to the track, indicating where to brake and where to ease off the throttle. This is unusual, and it’s helpful to read it before you go, especially if it’s your first time: a big part of what separates a good lap from a bad one is knowing which turns not to brake for.

You can make a reservation on their website.
