Karting La Pobla

The track

Karting La Pobla is located on Viena Street in the Mas de Tous industrial park in La Pobla de Vallbona, about twenty kilometers from Valencia via the CV-35. It has been in operation since 1990, making it one of the oldest karting tracks still in operation in the Valencian Community, and its current layout is the result of a 2017 renovation.

The feature most often mentioned by those who have driven there is the elevation change: the track has a bridge, and the uphill turn is quite tight. A kart track with a change in elevation is less common than it seems—most are laid out on flat terrain—and it changes the driving experience, because the kart’s grip and weight aren’t the same going up as they are going down. Similarly, it’s a track with more curves than long straights: those looking for top speed have other options in the province, and those looking to link turns will find plenty to work with here.

It’s described as a rental karting track with a competition-oriented approach: its own team applies what they learn from racing to the setup of the rental karts, which is what sets a well-maintained fleet apart from one that simply functions.

There’s a bar on the premises, open during the same hours as the track, and it hosts birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and corporate events.

And here’s a very convenient feature that not all tracks offer: it’s open every day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and you can contact them via WhatsApp as well as by phone—which is much faster than a phone call for confirming same-day availability.
