Karting Alacant

The track

Karting Alacant is an outdoor track about 750 meters long in Villafranqueza, a district in northern Alicante, next to the CV-821. It is the only karting track in this directory located within the municipal boundaries of Alicante itself, making it the most direct option for those leaving the city without taking the highway.

The track is shorter than those in the Marina Baixa or Vega Baja regions, and that defines the nature of the session: fast laps, lots of turns, and few straightaways to catch your breath, with traffic having a greater impact on the results than on a track longer than 1,000 meters. It’s a format that works well for first-timers and for short sessions.

The fleet consists of gas-powered karts and includes children’s karts, and a large part of the business comes from children’s birthday parties, group events, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

What you really need to check before going is the schedule, because it changes with the season—and that’s no small detail. From July 1 through the first week of September, it’s open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with a midday break due to the heat in this province. The rest of the year, the morning hours remain the same, but the afternoon hours start earlier: from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. It’s open every day of the year except for two: January 1 and Santa Faz Day, which is a local holiday in Alicante and therefore doesn’t appear on any national work calendar.
