Elche Karting Club

The track

Elche Karting Club is an outdoor track approximately 850 meters long located on Algorfa Street in Elche, in the Baix Vinalopó region. Elche is the second-largest city in the province and one of the largest in the Valencian Community, and this is the premier karting track in its urban area.

The 850-meter track is located in the central part of the province: considerably longer than the one in the capital and shorter than those in Orihuela, Finestrat, or Villajoyosa. It operates with gas-powered karts and offers three types of karts, ensuring that an entire group can participate without anyone being left out: single-seaters, two-seaters for passengers who don’t drive, and karts for children.

Among its amenities is a café, and it hosts children’s birthday parties, group events, and bachelor/bachelorette parties. A practical tip when looking for it: its official information isn’t on its own domain but on the Fastkart website, which can be confusing for those searching by the club’s name. It also maintains active profiles on Facebook and Instagram, which at this type of track are usually the channels used to announce temporary closures and events.

Its hours are the longest and simplest in the entire province: every day from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.—twelve consecutive hours with no midday closure and no weekly day off. In a province where several tracks close two days a week or shorten their hours in the summer, this makes it the safest bet if you don’t want to call ahead. Elche is twenty minutes from Alicante and half an hour from Santa Pola and Crevillent.
