The two karting circuits in Santa Cruz de Tenerife are in the south of the island, in the tourist area, and less than fifteen minutes apart: Karting Club Tenerife, in Parque de la Reina, in the municipality of Arona, and Karting Las Américas, in Costa Adeje.

The Arona track has a verified length of 1,200 meters and two lanes; the Adeje track has 857 meters and one lane. These are two clearly different lengths, and that makes a big difference: the first allows for a lap at your own pace, the second is more compact and has a faster rotation.

Both are outdoor tracks and both offer two-seater and children's karts. In southern Tenerife, the weather is pleasant practically year-round, so seasonality is much less of an issue than on the mainland: here, karting operates in January almost as much as in August, which is unusual for the directory.

The areas without coverage are the north of the island—Puerto de la Cruz, La Laguna, La Orotava—and the capital, Santa Cruz, which doesn't have its own network. Anyone in those areas has to travel south, about fifty minutes by highway.

The province also includes La Palma, La Gomera, and El Hierro, and none of the three have a karting track listed. If you know of one that should be included, please let us know: the directory is updated with the information we receive.
