Castellón has two karting circuits, located about ten kilometers apart, both on the northern coast of the province: Karting Benikarts in Benicàssim and Marlon Kart in Oropesa del Mar. This is a striking concentration in such a long province, leaving both the interior—Alto Palancia, Els Ports, and Maestrazgo—and the far north, the Vinaròs and Benicarló area, without nearby coverage.

Karting Benikarts has a verified 940-meter track and offers both gasoline and children's karts. We haven't been able to confirm the track length for Marlon Kart, but they do offer two-seater karts in addition to the standard and children's karts, which is the important information for someone who can't drive alone.

Their proximity has a practical benefit: if one is full on a Saturday in August, the other is just ten minutes away. In most provinces, the nearest alternative is over half an hour away.

Both are listed as outdoor circuits. Benicàssim and Oropesa are two of the province's tourist destinations, so the customer profile is as expected—family vacationers, groups of friends, afternoon outings—and it's worth noting that the off-season schedule is different from that of July.

For those living in Castellón city, both are less than half an hour away by motorway. For those in Vinaròs or Morella, the journey is considerably longer, and it might be worth considering Tarragona as well.
