A Coruña has only one karting circuit in the directory, Karting Marineda, and it is located within the city itself: it is covered, with two-seater karts and children's karts, and a track.
The fact that the only indoor track in the province is an urban one makes perfect sense in Galicia. In an area where rain doesn't respect seasons, an outdoor track depends entirely on the weather forecast, while an indoor track operates year-round, at any time. For those living in A Coruña, it's also the perfect option that doesn't require a car.
This means that the rest of the province—Santiago, Ferrol, Costa da Morte, and the Rías Altas—doesn't have its own racetrack. Those in Santiago can reach A Coruña about seventy kilometers away via the AP-9 motorway, and the Pontevedra circuits in Valga and O Porriño are a similar distance away in the opposite direction. From Ferrol, A Coruña is the obvious choice.
We haven't been able to verify the track length, so we haven't published it. Indoor track lengths are usually between 300 and 600 meters, but that's a generalization and not specific to this track: we prefer to leave it blank rather than provide a figure we haven't checked.
If you know of any other racetracks in the province that should be on this list, please let us know. The directory is compiled using public sources and updated with additional information.
