The track

The La Torre Circuit is located in the La Unión industrial park, along the Castellón highway and next to the Z-40, about five minutes from downtown Zaragoza. It has been in operation since mid-2005, when it started out as a small mini-bike track, making it one of the oldest in the province.

What sets it apart the most—by far—is who it allows to drive a go-kart. It has two go-karts adapted for people with limited leg mobility, with the accelerator and brake operated by hand. In this entire directory, there’s only one other track with a kart like this, at Mar Menor: these are two out of more than 130. And at the other end of the spectrum, it has two-seater karts in which a child as young as three can ride accompanied by an adult—which is the lowest minimum age in the directory, tied with Go Karts Indoor in Asturias.

Between those two extremes are karts for children, teens, and adults, so it’s a track that practically anyone can visit—without anyone being left to watch from the sidelines. That’s rarer than it seems.

It has a bar and a terrace, and hosts birthday parties for children and adults, bachelor and divorce parties, as well as corporate, group, and school events.

It publishes schedules, open sessions, races, rules, and rates in dedicated sections of its website, so it’s a good idea to check them before you go. It does not list the length or width of the track, which is the information missing from this profile.

It shares a phone number with the Mozota Circuit, also in the province: they’re operated by the same company with two facilities, although neither website mentions this.
