Circuito de Karting A Pastoriza

The track

The A Pastoriza karting circuit is located on Avenida Doctor Constantino Cabaneiro, in A Pastoriza, in the interior of the province of Lugo.

What makes it unique is who owns the track. It belongs to PTC Escuela —Perfeccionamiento y Técnicas de Conducción—, a driving and road safety school that has been operating since 1993 and has its permanent facilities here, with its administrative headquarters in A Coruña. The school designed and developed, together with the Xunta de Galicia (Galician regional government), the public program for training young drivers, "Conducción Segura" (Safe Driving), and in 2003 opened another school in Maia, near Porto.

For those who plan to drive there, this means it's not just a leisure track: it's a facility designed from the ground up to teach driving, with instructors and a focus on technique and safety. It even has its own racing team.
