The track

The KR24 Conil Karting Track is located at kilometer 2.8 of the A-2233 in Conil de la Frontera, right in the heart of the Costa de la Luz. The entire track is 1,300 meters long and about ten meters wide, with eighteen turns: eight left-handers and ten right-handers.

That distribution of turns isn’t just for show. A track with more right-hand turns than left-hand turns puts asymmetrical strain on the neck and arms, and in a kart—where there’s no power steering or seatbelt to hold your torso in place—you really feel it by the end of a long session. It’s also part of the reason why a track like this is more enjoyable the third time around than the first.

Like its sister track in Sanlúcar, it offers night racing from June through September—which is when driving is truly comfortable along the Cadiz coast.

It organizes group races in a Grand Prix format and its own points-scoring events: its October 2026 calendar included a Sprint event with two races, a qualifying lap, and ten-minute heats.

As for the hours, they’re the same as in Sanlúcar: variable throughout the year—check by phone or WhatsApp—with the track closing half an hour before the facilities, and three days of closure per year—December 25 and January 1 and 6.

And a point of reference for choosing between the two: Conil is 1,300 meters long and Sanlúcar is 1,600 meters long; both are operated by the same company and are an hour apart along the coast.
