Karting Corral de Calatrava (Active Racing)

The track

Karting Corral de Calatrava is located on the Alcolea de Calatrava road, between kilometers 1.5 and 2, a few minutes from Ciudad Real capital, and is part of a larger leisure complex that includes motorcycles, paintball, water inflatables and a bar.

Adult karting is for ages 14 and up. The basic session is 8 minutes for 18 euros, with 390cc SODI karts, and the circuit also has thirteen karts with adjustable pedals, which allows a short person and a tall person to be equally comfortable without any further adjustments.

The most distinctive feature is that it offers three race formats with a complete structure. The Race GP consists of 6 minutes of free practice to adapt to the kart and familiarize yourself with the track, plus an 8-lap standing-start race, for €35. The Mini GP replaces the free practice with 12 minutes of qualifying, for €45. And the Grand GP adds a second 8-lap race with a reverse grid, for €55. All three include a briefing, podium ceremony, and results sheet, so participants receive their times in writing and a podium finish.

For the little ones there is their own children's track, with quads from 18 euros for 10 minutes for children aged 3 to 12 and pedal karts for 10 euros for half an hour for those aged 3 to 6. The two-seater, 20 euros for 8 minutes, allows an adult to take a child of any age on the main track.

It also accepts karts and your own competition vehicles, with a full day ticket.

They don't publish their opening hours, so it's best to confirm them before going, by calling 666 487 390.
