The track

Ibérica Karting Salamanca is located in Arapiles, five kilometers from the center of Salamanca, and is the largest circuit in the province: almost one and a half kilometers long with a width of ten meters —and they emphasize this— throughout the entire track without exception.

That constant width is more important than it seems. On most circuits, the width varies, and there are sections where overtaking is impossible; with ten meters across the entire track, overtaking is still possible at any point, and that changes the nature of a race.

And it has the greatest variety of layouts in the entire directory: up to seven variations. No other circuit included here reaches that number.

Two karting categories with very different entry requirements: the AM (270cc), for ages 14 and up; and the PRO (390cc), for ages 16 and up, requiring prior experience, not just age. Individual sessions are eight minutes long, and telemetry is available to record times and fastest lap times.

For groups of six or more, it offers four formats across both engine sizes: the full GP—eight minutes of practice, eight minutes of qualifying, and ten minutes of racing—and the Mini GP, without the practice session. And since it's located within an activity complex, you can combine karting with paintball, a Wipeout-style obstacle course, and a barbecue all in the same day.

Three practical tips to read before you go. Advance booking is required via WhatsApp. There's no exclusive access to the court unless you book it in advance: in a regular session, you'll share it with others. And to reduce the number of spots in an already booked group, you must give 48 hours' notice, otherwise you'll still have to pay.

The schedule is published weekly on their website, and they warn that it changes with the season, holidays, and bad weather, so there's no fixed schedule: you have to check it there.
